oh! she said
time to kiss the
razorblade with
spit-wet lips
and drag it across
flesh that jumps
at contact
slips it across skin
that can do nothing
but bleed
for the screams are
locked within
her chest
they gather and scrape
against one another
waiting

she gnaws at her fist
with her mouth
and watches the blood
trickling down
seeping into the
bra that has been dragged
down
hugging the stomach that
pooches out with
each breath
sometimes she wonders what
it would be like to lick
the blood off the razorblade
feel the cold kiss of
metal on the tongue
she smells the
wet copper scent
and grins
it is hollow
her teeth very white against
lips now covered
in blood

her wet mouth is open
but there are no words
they have been cut out
with a blade that longs
to tear through the flesh
of her mouth
cutting her lips into two
leaving her as ugly
on the outside as she
is on the inside
for inside there are monsters
heavy black bodies and
shining cat eyes that flicker
they whisper obscenities
and lick at the bloody
wounds of her pride
suckling at them
hollowing her out
for if they looked
at her bones they
would find the marrow
gone
nothing but an empty
shell
hollow hands twisting
together
eyes dark and dull
the marks of her vengeance
mapped out on her flesh
mouths from which blood
seeps

she looks without seeing
and cuts without feeling
this is her life
it shines like jagged glass
