Text

silly little girl
hanging onto
two strings
her only support
in the world

one is hunger and
the other is
hate
how odd it is
to hang to these
old friends

caresses of
starvation and
embraces of
pain
how these friends
support the
silly little girl!

one would never
want for more
no need
for sickly
love and for
empty promises
how they
sting

rather curl
up with her
two good
friends
bathe in their
attention and
revel in their
love

silly little girl
let go of that
blade
