Text

night falling
glow of light in
the distance
shadows fall in
beckoning with elegant
hands and sharp teethed
smiles
i follow
there is no other way
caresses of sharp
pain
kisses of bitter
medicine
hungry goddesses

hold out my wrists
wait for their love
crimson light falling
oh so warm
on icy skin of the
dead
shadows gather
gifts of blood
they hold my hand
waiting for the
end

light fades
i am so cold
begging for their
hungry love
don't leave me
taste me
love me

shadows gone
alone as always
chilled flesh
open mouthed smiles on
my outstretched wrists
so tired
eyes falling closed
body limp
awaiting the end

life seeping
leaving
in a puddle
floor stained
how she will scream

at last there is
nothing
only stained flesh

light
morning again
taste of old pennies
sheets stiff
i feel so old
can't move my hands
alive

when will the shadows
gather again?
i will wait
for them
will love them with
blood on my hands

alive

next time they
will take me
with them

don't leave me
